Baked Apple with Pumpkin Pie Spice
A scrumptious substitution for apple pie that's an ideal evening treat.
Ingredients
Directions
- Take a medium apple and core it, then cut it into smaller pieces.
- Put the apple pieces into a microwaveable dish, and mix in the pumpkin pie spice.
- Heat in microwave for about 1 minute.
- Note: you can also add fat free frozen yogurt for flair.

I asbolutely love this. I made it at work for my afternoon snack and everyone came running wanting to know where the pie was because it smelled so good and it tasted incredible.

Extremely satisfying...I topped it off with sugar/fat free Blue Bunny Ice Cream - shaves quite a few calories off of an old time favorite!

Hi there. Pumpkin pie spice is just a mix of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg or allspice, and cloves...cinnamon being primary. You can mix it up yourself, using more or less of whatever spices you have on hand, or like. Just go easy on everything except the cinnamon because they're quite powerful.
