Asian Lettuce Wraps

A quick, delicious Asian inspired meal for anytime.



  1. Make a quick marinade by combining the soy sauce and garlic powder.
  2. Pour over ground beef and mix well.
  3. Let sit for at least an hour.
  4. Brown ground beef over medium-high heat.
  5. Serve immediately with lettuce leaves.
  6. Note: to eat, just put a few spoonfuls of the meat mixture into the lettuce wrap.

I love love love this recipe. The ground beef smells amazing while it is cooking!!
This sounds similar to a dish that my Korean SIL makes, except hers has garlic cloves, mushrooms, and I think go-chu-jang (spicy Korean red sauce) in the lettuce leaves with the meat. Also, her meat is thinly sliced instead of gound. Delicious. I'm going to try this!!!

I have never marinated hamburger before and did this time... so good. I added a bit of ginger and cilantro. Very good.

I added garlic, onions, red and orange peppers, green onions and it was very very good! This is the first recipe I made from the recipe selection! Loved it

This is very good! I'm just wondering about the nutritional facts? Where do the 4.5 grams of net carbs come from. Do the soy sauce and garlic really have that much?

A good base but needs the addition of vegetables like onions, water chestnuts, peppers, etc for some texture. Also good with shredded carrots on top.

This was great and is perfect for my low cal, low carb diet. I loved it. I used adobo, crushed red pepper flakes, a little onion and red bell pepper and skipped the garlic. The soy made it delicious. This is a new favorite for my diet. Thanks.
