All Seed Crackers

These low carb crackers are amazing in that it's just seeds, water and spices.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix together the 4 seeds in a bowl.
  2. Mix together water, garlic, onion powder, salt and other herbs and spices to taste.
  3. Pour water mixture into seed mixture. Stir until thick.
  4. Spread mixture on a baking sheet with back of spoon to 1/4" thick.
  5. Bake at 325 °F (165 °C) for 30 minutes. Remove and slice into crackers. Flip crackers with a spatula and bake for another 25-30 minutes. Watch carefully so they don't burn. Bottoms will be golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool completely on baking sheet. Enjoy.

I make a similar cracker and add a good tablespoon or two of nutritional yeast (a.k.a. brewer's yeast), which adds B vitamins and a little bit of flavor. The only thing I don't like about these is that they are WAY too easy to nibble on!

I selected 5 because you all say they are yummy. I need yummy. I'm on a low carb diet. Do you have any idea how many carbs are in a cracker or does it vary?

These crackers are quite good. What the "Nutrition Facts" does not include are all the wonderful trace minerals found in seeds.

Added hemp hearts and just a couple tablespoons more water, would increase the salt and I added pepper, but would add more next time. Was very pleasantly surprised, will make them again and again.. Measured out at 13 oz, so a little less than 1 ounce, would be a serving
