Savoury Mince

Quick and easy for a busy weekday dinner.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Saute onion and minced garlic together until onion turns translucent. Add olive oil, then a little bit of water if the pan runs too dry.
  2. Add the ground beef and fry until browned all over, add the beef stock and sweet corn kernels and simmer until the water has evaporated.
  3. Add the worstershire sauce and tomato paste, stir through, and cook for a further 2-3 minutes. Just before serving, add your finely chopped parsley and stir through.
  4. Note: serve with rice, toasted bread, salad or mashed potatoes. Curry powder or sultanas can be added for a different flavour.
