Yoyo dieter from the Pacific Northwest. Have tried lots of things in the past both diet types and different activities. Winter is hard here because you just kind of hibernate and spring/summer/fall is great and there's lots of outdoors time - which is more what I like versus the gym. Trying now to lose my winter weight gain to be ready for swimwear and the dreaded warm weather work uniform - have to tuck in our t-shirts leaving my swollen mid section exposed!(it can be hidden in a sweatshirt in the cold months). Also a challenge for me is that my family is more sedentary than I am so I tend to get dragged to the couch more than they get dragged to the outdoors- working on fostering a love of outside with them.
