Hi, I'm a 32-yearold mommy of two beautiful girls... Brigit (age 9) and Danika (age 7)... soon-to-be step-mom to Alex(6) and Kendal-Lynn(8)... and pretty excited about it! :)
I've never been a "skinny chick" and don't expect to ever be one - - - I'm just not built like that. BUT... I am definitely capable of a much healthier weight, and I'm trying... yet again... to get back to something that makes me comfy in my own skin.
After my first daughter, the weight went back to what it was (which was still overweight BUT...didn't gain any)... after my second, who was a c-section, I gained a bit from not being able to be active after the surgery, and gained probably another 15-20lbs since then, in the last couple of years. Slowly, but surely gaining. I was at 180 before my kids, and was uncomfortable already then already... so now I'm really needing to do something, since I've been as high as 200-220lbs over the past several years. I'd REALLY like to get back down to about 150/155 eventually. That's my end goal. If I lose more, great (my supposed "ideal weight" is about 135-40)... but I really think I'll be comfortable (and healthy) at 150 or so.
SO I've made myself a couple of goal "steps"... I saw someone else do this in their bio and I thought it was a great idea for keeping my goals in sight, as well as having opportunity for some mini-victories when I reach these!
