I am bearly in my 50's, 59 to be exact, and have been gaining weight even though I watch my diet. All the diet programs I have been on, Weight Watchers, LA Weight Loss, Diet Center, I have not been able to lose weight no matter how hard I work at it. Just recently I joined Weight Watchers, again, and managed to gain 2 pounds. It is very discouraging. I knew about the Adkins Program but was so brainwashed that I could bring myself to eat fat or red meat. After a little research I decided that carbs were not my friend no matter how much I loved them and I gave it a try. I only lost 1 pound the first week but I prize that pound because I haven't been hungry and I haven't craved carbs. I am motivated to stay on the program and looking forward feeling and looking better!!!!!!!
