I'm feeling much better. The nausea was only a one day thing. It may have been caused by anything. I don't think the migraine helped much. Copper is doing a little better with not chewing on his paws. He's done with his medication and I switched him t a grain free dog food made with salmon and potatoes. I had both dogs on a chicken recipe initially, but one ended up getting diarrhea, so I switched it to a sensitive stomach recipe. The fish oils are supposed to be good for their coat, so I'm hoping this does the job. The food stinks to high heaven, but the dogs love it. Well, I made some zucchini bread last night using splenda, eggbeaters and no oil and it wasn't half bad. I substituted protein powder for some of the flour, fat free plain greek yogurt and apple sauce for the oil the recipe called for. Each slice was 160 calories with almost 6 gms of protein. It came out very moist and didn't taste bad at all. It's kind of fun experimenting with ingredients.

Boy oh boy, Yesterday I was really nauseated. I think I had a little of the dumping syndrome. I got really hot and sweaty and extremely nauseous. I'm not sure why this happened. I know that I was extremely busy at work yesterday and did not have time to eat lunch or breakfast until very late. I ate a bowl of protein cereal at 5:30 am then my yogurt at 10:30 am. I ate my peach at 3 pm and then a couple peanut butter crackers on my way home at 5 pm. I ate some watermelon at 7 pm, my leftover filet mignon at 8 pm. I had an extremely bad migraine that started around 1 pm and progressively worsened until I finally went to bed around 9 pm. The hot sweaty feeling started around 3 pm and that's the reason I ate the peach. By 9 pm when I went to bed my symptoms included--severe pounding migraine, horrible nausea but no vomiting, small amount of abdominal cramping and gas, and being hot and sweaty. All I can think of is that I went too long without eating and really never recovered from it until I went to sleep. I had to take a sleeping pill to stop the cycle and when my dogs woke me up a few hours later to go outside, I felt quite a bit better. Anyone who has had the RNY, any ideas what happened to me yesterday?????
