This past week I found out that my home scale is way off and after being measured and weighed at my first personal trainer session, I weigh more than I thought. I decided I'm not going to record the weigh in entry or re-adjust my weight history here. Instead I plan to work hard this week on getting myself down to what I recorded on last weeks weigh in.

Purchasing a new digital scale yesterday will help me keep track off what my true progress is, however, with thanks to my buddy Abundantjoy, the point is I'm feeling better since I am eating healthier and taking care of myself....the number on the scale is secondary. As far as my goals are concerned, Abundantjoy is right. For me, my first priority is my health second is the feeling of vanity-fair reaping the benefits of weight loss.

Goal for this week: I'm planning to follow SBD near 100% this week and I will see my fitness trainer twice this week and excercise 3 additional days burning 250-300 calories each session.

Happy New Year 2008. I've been down this road before, but I think I finally hit my bottom. During 2007 as I continued to gain weight, I also developed high blood pressure (now I take medicine for that), migraine headache's (now I take medicine for that), and have mild depression (now I take medicine for that). I'm tired of being tired. I'm ready for a new year.

My husband saw a segment on the Fox News channel this past week about and he told me that the story was inspiring.

I am here to learn from people that may have similar experiences as I and I would like to follow any advice and recipes.

Tomorrow is my 43rd birthday, and I don't even want to eat the cake, but, my children are so excited to sing happy birthday to mommy so I will have a small slice before I begin this journey in what I hope to be a lifestyle change. I need to exercise and I need to learn how to make time for myself otherwise I will not succeed.
