Weigh in
I weigh in every morning. It doesn't discourage me at all, even when it shows an increase. To me, it's simply a barometer of what I ate/drank and if I exercised (or not) for the previous day.

I use one called Dana Carpender's New Carb & Calorie Counter. Don't know if it has everything that Fat Secret includes however it seems comprehensive. I bought it because you can easily see the carbs and net carbs (highlighted on every page). Other nutrients are also listed. It's small enough to fit in a purse, backpack (goes in mine almost everyday), or briefcase. Measurements - 4 x 6 x 1.5
