Entering food nutrition info manually
I decided to just enter the recipe so that I can complete my food diary for the day. And now I remember what I don't like about FatSecret. I can't enter "Portobello Mushroom Stroganoff" because it's already been used. Meanwhile, I search for a recipe with that name and there isn't one. So I tried "Mushroom Stroganoff" and guess what...? Forget it.

Why can't I just enter it manually? Or better yet, why can't I just have my own personal recipes that don't have to be shared with the entire community (and therefore don't have to have original names).

Entering food nutrition info manually
I don't want to have to enter all of the ingredients. I just want to enter the calories, protein, carbs, etc in my food diary. Is there a way to do that?

Entering food nutrition info manually
Is there any way to manually enter my calories without having to pick every ingredient?

For example, I made a recipe tonight that I found online. The nutrition info was included with the recipe and I checked it against another recipe calculator tool that I found online. I don't want to have to search for each ingredient in FS again, so can I just enter the info I already have in my food journal?

Thanks in advance for any info or advice Smile

Half Marathons
I'm also training for my first half marathon in March. Best of luck to you! Congratulations on committing to it! Running has been the greatest gift for me. Nothing else I've even done has made me feel so proud or capable. I love it!

Spell Check!
I use Google Chrome for my internet browser and it spell checks as I type in any field. Pretty awesome and much faster than IE.
