ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...

Friday 9/16...it was hard to not get a phone call - even though they said end of next week...did a little laundry, went and put out open house signs.

We have decided to do a meal replacement program called Body by Vi. We will start with 2 shakes per day, breakfast and dinner. We will eat a healthier lunch. Since we don't eat dinner till 8:30 or later this should work out great. FOOD: hot tea, olive garden: ww pasta with the new pizzaoli (sp?) sauce and meatballs, soupa tascona soup.

Today is a day to stay at home and do a whole lot of nothing. Have 2 movies to watch about Drum Lines. I am on a committee for our towns annual Holidazzle parade. The plan this year is to have hot air balloons, pyrotechnics, downtown vendors, and all 4 local high schools drum lines enter 1 from each side of the court house, doing a solo and then when the last drum line is in - they will do a huge (read loud) collaborative number, than the parade will come through about 80 floats...should be awesome. So the movies are homework. FOOD: hot tea and maybe chili.

have a wonderful fs day, off to read journals

ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...

Wednesday 9/14 - Received an email with an "Assessment Test" for the Finance Manager position I applied for, took it and waited to hear back from the company. Took a friend of mine to lunch that is having issues with her marriage, life and kids. 2.5 hours later as we were leaving another friend saw us standing there and stopped by...too funny - impromptu meetings at Bob Evans as I was pulling out - who was behind me...that would be my hubby in the delivery truck from his second job...FOOD: hot tea, cheddar soup, 3 chicken strips, water

Thursday 9/15 - Got an email that asked if I was available to interview at 2:30 pm...so of course I said yes. The interview went long. However it was very good. The first thing they said to me in the interview was how impressed they were with the assessment test. The highest they had ever had anyone score was a 7.7 out of 10. I scored a 8.1. Please pray that the proper doors are opened and closed. We should find out by the end of next week. They are looking at 2 other people also. FOOD: hot tea, yogi granola crisps strawberry flavored, chili (chicken/turkey, onions, garlic, green peppers, tomato, chili beans, chili powder, cumin, celery seed, red pepper flakes).

Friday 9/16 - So far hot tea with a tsp of carmal vanilla creamer (have to order more flavored teas) - we have an open house this weekend so we will go put out signs tonight and have dinner out - not sure where yet.

Need to get more exercise in....

Am grateful for a hubby that has accepted and been very tolerant this time while I have been off work. He is so worth working through all the crap we went through to keep our marriage strong.

Am grateful for my puppy girls - who no matter how many times I come and go, act like they haven't seen me in ages...haha

Am grateful for my house and the security it provides

Am grateful for an awesome vehicle that runs properly

Am grateful for UE - it has provided us the opportunity to not have to become destitute

Off to read journals...have a wonderful FS day

ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...

thursday - took two friends and went to this outdoor shopping center. Picked up a new/used computer with windows 7 on it...so if I get this job than I am ready. We walked around for about 2 hours and since I'd only had about 350 calories all day - I had 700 more at Burger King and was still under for the day...

friday - spend the better part of the morning programing and moving my files off hubby's laptop to the new one - forgot to exercise, BAD ME. We went to the local corn festival and again I walked for a couple of hours. Dinner was skyline chili, desert was blueberry cobbler.

saturday - we had a video production to run so we left the house about 3ish, due to low attendance we ended up canceling and went to the grocery store instead. I am cooking for a Womens Center Function on Monday night (small group - only 30 people), so we bought all I need for that. about 1.5 hours of walking. Dinner was potato crusted talipa and parm shaved orzo.

today - church in the am and now I'm on the couch watching the Bengals try to lose this first game of the season to of all teams: cleveland...go figure - havent figured out dinner yet, except chicken was on sale for 1.99 pound and I bought 2.5 pounds of it...

off to read journals - have a wonderful fs day
