Sometimes, even someone like me has a rough time. Someone like me who is so dedicated to not making excuses for being fat. I too fall off the wagon. But you know what? There isn't anyone but me that can pick my fat ass off the floor. There isn't anyone but me, that can say no to foods that are my triggers.

The time to talk to someone isn't after a box of Oreos...it's before you drive to the store to purchase the Oreos. I have to say it, it bears repeating. In order to succeed, you must lose your fat friends who are not on the same journey to wellness. Stop following the fatties here, who blog endlessly and yet weigh the same as they did when they started here 1-3 years ago. Where have most gone?? That is what I am talking about.

They will never help you on your journey...only you can make the changes necessary.

I have been very lucky to survive a myriad of heartaches, and challenges. Just like you. I am here to say with God, all things are possible. I am going to re-start Boot Camp, as I am finally strong enough to handle the time it takes to run camp. I have missed you all so much. I have maintained my weight loss with a small gain due to medication. I am now going to work on those ten pounds to get back to my ideal weight.

If I can maintain my 100 pound weight loss, give or take 5 lbs. so can you. I am near 60, way past menopause; have sustained a failed marriage, lost my job more than 2 years ago, lost my home, lost my son, and went thru cancer, which resulted in my being homeless.

I can honestly say there are never any good excuses for not keeping myself in best health possible. Even without an income, it's possible to make better choices in life. If you want something bad enough, you can do it. I don't have anyone helping me, but me. You have to change your mindset for life.

I see so many that I haven't talked to in 2 years, and yet they're still at their starting weight, and still making excuses. This is because you all don't hold each other accountable on this website. Being supportive and being an enabler are different.

This is why Boot Camp works. Stop hanging with fat buddies and fat friends who are not on your journey. You can't hang with addicts who aren't changing their ways, when you're one yourself. I will be reviewing applications to Boot Camp as soon as I revise the site. It's been quite a long time since I've logged in. Boot Camp starts 1.2014 if not sooner. I hope to change your life, as I have others.

Peace to all
