WOW-where should I begin? I'm 27, raising 5 kids, as of now-(2)8 year olds, a 6 year old, a 4 year old and finally a 2 year old-yeah so I'm pretty busy. I have a pretty bad case of tendonitis, so my exercise is very limited. I've been overweight almost all of my life, I lost weight (the wrong way) when I was 12 or 13, and then at age 16 I started working in fast food and gaining my weight back. Now I'm a whopping 125 pounds overweight and tired. I want to feel better (and look better) again. I know it's possible, but SO hard. I also was diagnosed with PCOS, even went to a nutritionist-which was a waste of money since I did NOTHING that I was supposed to do. I was on weight watchers and my doctor told me I would have a hard time loosing on weight watchers without "tweaking" the plan. I lost O-so-slowly there, however I DID loose.

Anyway enough of that, I love tips and encouragement and would love to hear what you have to say, so if you have tips PLEASE don't hesitate to throw them my way!!!

Yep plantar facitis AND peroneal tindonitis. It's getting better though, me and the kids went for a 10 minuted walk and it just started to really hurt when we were almost home, so that's an improvement. YAY!

Okay, I joined on here yesterday and was THRILLED to see that my RDI was 2600 calories, HOWEVER I realize this is WAY over what any other plan recommends.....

SOOOO my question is Will I lose weight eating that many calories?? AND if not how many should I actually aim for??? I'm a bit confused.

Do you eat foods you don't like just because they're healthy?
I hate celery as well....I also dislike V8 but I was trying to do the South Beach Diet so I bought 2 bottles of V8 b/c is was in the meal plan, needless to say it ended up being wasted because after 2 cups I decided I just couldn't deal with that YUCK!

SO, my answer is no and yes....I try to tolerate things that are "healthy" but end up not following through, b/c it's so gross.

tendonitis and exercise
Hello, I'm new as of today. I was diagnosed with a "good" case of tendonitis pretty recently and told to stay off of my foot as much as possible (which is impossible with 5 kids). I want/need to lose around 125 pounds and want to do it right and healthy. I know that I should exercise to "help" it along and walking is what I am limited to, however I'm supposed to be off of my foot-WHAT can I do??? I'm so out of shape that I'm scared to try to ride a bike (not to mention I can't take all the kids) and swimming is NOT realistic for me either. Any suggestions?? Thanks for listening.Confused
