Calorie Breakdown help
Does anybody know if there is a reccommendation about Calorie Breakdown? i see the chart at the bottom of the daily food journal, but what does it really mean? and how should it look like?
is fiber depicted in this chart is some way?

anyone else having problems with portion counting in restaurants?

anyone else having problems with portion counting in restaurants?
As a new comer to this site, i am amazed by the ambudance of tools to make our lives easier and logging foods fast as lightning. still one problem remains...
how do you measure foods when not in your home? if, where at home you have doubts, you can very easily measure or weight something and get an idea? what happens though when in a restaurant? for instance i was in a bar yesterday and me and some friends shared a cheese and fruit platter. i was having trouble remembering what i ate, and estimating the size of the portions! i cant even begin to imagine what happens when you have a normal dinner in a restaurant...
any indeas how to overcome this? has anyone faced a similar problem?

I think you have already made the first step! This was saying that you have to take some action!
I am new to this website too, but I think it 's a brilliant idea, as it travels with you wherever you go! most of my previous efforts to logmy eatting habbits failed short as i was too bored to write, or even type in an excel or word file. Plus you have access to a huge database of foods! i am greek an i have found several foods of our couisine that didn't expect to find here!
good luck with your effords! i think you ll do just great! never loose your confidence, if once you feel down, keep it up, that good work always pays up in the end!
