I am a mother of 2 boys, and stay I stay pretty busy but after several months of being inactive and not eating right I was at my heaviest weight ever. Last November 2009 I experienced a fall that injured my shoulder and eventually required sugery in April 2010. After my surgery I began physical therapy. That motivated me to speed up my healing and lose all the unwanted and unheathly extra pounds. I began the South Beach Diet with some modifications; No Beans! I weighed and measured my serving portions and counting calories. Since May 2010 I've lost over 30 lbs. My Dr. is very proud and told me to keep doing whatever I was doing to lose the weight. My total cholesterol is down a total of 49 pts since my last years physical. I feel great and all the complements from friends and co-workers keep me motivated.
I love to cook a try new recipes, so now I'm in search of low carb healthy recipes. I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, geocaching and camping. I like Football and NASCAR.
I'm sooooo happy that I found this app and website, it has made losing my weight so much easier and fun!
