Alright, this gives me some ideas. I will cut back and/or try another sweetener. I oould also use good ideas for foods with fat but not protein. I'm having a hard time eating enough fat, imagine that!
Any ideas?

Sad What am I doing wrong???? I swtiched to the canola version of mayonnaise and have been trying to keep fat up and protein down. I think I had two days when I went over the calories and 2 grams over on net carbs but not with bad stuff, I haven't eaten any non-induction foods. I have cut back on bars and shakes (maybe have 1/2 shake each day, maybe!) and have cut down the cream I use in my coffee. I don't measure ny coffee in two eight ounce portions, should I? I do drink enough water to flood a small country! Also can't understand the labels. We are supposed to be able to use salad dressing and sour cream w/ no more than 3 grams net carbs. Fine, but what if the label reads "1 gram carbs" and then says "sugars,1 gram"? Is this ok if sugars is fourth or lower on the added ingredients? I haven't been eating ranch or blue cheese because of this and am afraid to eat sour cream as well. I am getting really discouraged so any advice would be much appreciated!

How do I get fat without protein?
OK, so I am new to Atkins (day 9) and am struggling with the food ratios. I am getting too much protein and not enough fat and I read somewhere that too much protein would turn into sugar and defeat the purpose! How can Ia dd more fat without protein? I have been doing well with the carbs, but this makes it way to hard and I am feeling very frustrated and defeated. Thanks for any and all solutions! T
