I am 30 years old, and NOT getting younger. My senior year of high school I was in the best shape of my life at about 195-205 pounds and fit. Since then...well, lets just say I had some problems with drinking, smoking, and all around not taking care of my body what so ever. A week before i turned 30, I decided to realize a dream I've had for a long time...to be an MMA cage fighter. I decided one day that I was going to pursue it before it got too late. That day, I quit smoking (haven't had one since), cut back drinking DRASTICALLY (maybe 1-3 light beers on occasion), and I have been training jiu-jitsu and muay thai with professional fighters and instructors. I was 260 in October when I decided to do this..and I'm now 230 and working on that final push to get to my target fighting weight of 185. I, like everyone else, need a little bit of extra motivation from time to time to keep these things going. By helping others push themselves to their goals, it also helps to keep me on track. I feel the best I've ever felt in my life, and I'm getting very close to that "brick wall" point in my weight where its going be tough to drop weight quickly. Looking forward to working with others who share common interests and goals!

Best bet is eating a protein bar or drinking a protein shake 1 hour before workout, then another immediately after.

Exercise Diary-Frustrated!
It tracks the calories you eat and the calories you burn with various activities. One will not add or subtract from the other. At the end of the day, it just takes the difference between the calories you ate and the calories you burned and comes up with your net calories for the day. If you eat 1800 calories and burn 3000 calories, your net calorie intake for the day is -1200. Hope this helps.

Losing but still looking and feeling fat
The visible belly fat is generally always the last to come off. Looking at overall health factor, the first and most important fat you lose is the fat inside your belly that constricts your organs, and that fat you can't see, but is the most important to get rid of. Those love handles are stubborn, and unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to focus on just losing that. The fat burns off where it does. As you get to your goal weight, it will come off. Keep at it, go GETSUM!
