Got back last night at midnight from my trip to settle my late sister's affairs and ready the family home for selling. So many memories. Was sick as a dog for 3 of the 6 days I was there. I'm relieved it's done. Time to get life back to normal.

I'll be off the grid the rest of the week. I'm traveling to my hometown. My last remaining sibling passed away recently so I have to go deal with the family home. I won't be on FS, no internet, but I'm not too worried about gaining weight. It won't be a priority and doubt I'll have much appetite anyway. See y'all next Tuesday.

I've been seeing that a lot of you are using IF as a tool to help with weight loss so I looked into it yesterday. The funny thing is that I realized I was already doing it, I just didn't have a name for it. I normally stop eating around 7:30-8:00 at night. I'm never hungry in the morning, just acv water and black coffee, then break my fast at 11:00-12:00. So I downloaded an app called zero to track my progress and am slogging thru a 45 page scientific paper about IF and PF by Longo & Panda. So far I have learned that yeast lives longer if you stop giving it food and now I'm reading about worms and mice. I'm on page 15 so hope to get to the part about the benefits to people soon, lol! I bought a new kitchen scale. It's a backup to the one I'm using. It's pretty old and I thought it died a few days ago but was able to revive it. I was in such a panic when I thought I wouldn't have one till I could replace it that I went ahead and ordered another one. I really believe weighing my food in grams has been a key to my success this time. If your weight loss plan is calorie counting, you better be sure you are being as accurate as possible. I'm going on a trip mid week where there is no internet. Not happy about being away from FS but I have to go if I want to get some closure in my life. More on that later. Hope you all have a relaxing Sunday and thanks for all the support. It makes a huge difference.
