Happy weekend morning my FS friends! And it is a happy morning: I'm back in the blue, baby!! It is ridiculous how much the numbers on my scale influence my mood. I know it's wrong. My mirror, which by the way is not my friend because it is way too truthful, and my clothing tell a different story even when my scale says that I gained. You all know what I'm talking about. Some of you are wise enough to only weigh once a month, and some don't even own a scale and use a tape measure instead. I applaud you and sympathize with those of you who are like me and let your scale dictate your mood. I also am in awe of those of you who see your scale as a tool to give you information on your progress but don't let the numbers send you into a tailspin. I'm looking at you Draglist. :) I'm hoping that all of you have a safe, happy, skinny weekend. This morning my thoughts are with LSG417 and her son. She is such a kind lady and it kills me that she is in so much anguish. Feeling helpless when your child is in trouble is the worst pain you can have in my opinion. I've been there, but was fortunate to have a positive outcome. I pray that she does as well. ❤️❤️❤️

Of course I am happy with a green arrow. Counting calories is working for me. No food is off limits. It's about serving size and being truthful and accurate with the calories. But honestly the best thing is I FEEL BETTER. Physically and mentally better. Lighter (haha). I'm not waking up every morning and thinking "well how much did you eat last night stupid?" I'm no longer avoiding mirrors and having my picture taken. I'm living again. I don't put myself down anymore. I hold my head up. These changes mean everything to me. If I didn't lose another pound I would be ok right here. But I will keep going. It's become part of who I am now. I've got a ways to go to be a healthy weight. So let's go FS friends! Let's be successful together. I know we can do it because we have the tools (this website) and the support we need in each other.
