I am 43 years old. I've always been very athletic, but haven't always been very fit. With one pregnancy 14 years ago, my weight has fluctuated almost 50 lbs in my adult life. I have been hyper fit to the point I was addicted to exercise and maniacal about my food intake. This obsession consumed every minute. I looked amazing but didn't believe I was "at my best". Being 20+ pounds heavier now(and 10+ years older) I am more concerned with entering menopause at a manageable weight. I want to be "functionally fit"; I want to be able to lift heavy things, jog, play tennis, and feel good about myself well into my old age.

By using this online tool, I've found that I am still eating like I was an athlete. I know how to make good food choices, but I need to eat less. I need to learn that some exercise is better than none at all. I need to learn to balance a healthy outlook with a healthy inner feeling.
