I'm using this space to put my tips to myself as I learn them:

Be positive about my choices- keep reminding yourself throughout the day. At least, Start and End the day this way.

Instead of saying "I can't have ..." Say, " I choose to have"...

11 cups of H2O

Rewards? No. Food items do not count.

"You're" bored- go do something else... And yes, TV does make you hungry.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Every morning since 2012. In the past, I rarely weighed myself because I would get depressed if during a diet the number wasn't to my expectation and then I would cheat, quit, and gain. I have weighed myself everyday for two weeks now fighting the urge to quit the diet when i have a bad weigh-in. I believe the Diet Calendar with daily weigh-ins is now why I haven't given up like I usually do and I am not discouraged by the pace. After two weeks, it is now getting easier to get on the scale and an unexpected number doesn't bring me down. I guess the Diet Calendar makes me finally feel in control of that number because I have some answers. I'm looking forward to getting enough data to see any patterns (like with my TOM) to help with/ curb "hormonal" sabotage.

Belly...
Hi, I'm new too and so glad I found Fatsecret Smile I reaD today that pomegranate juice may help. The study found the juice reduces fatty acids in the blood thereby reducing the amount of fat cells stored around the abs, as well as helping lower blood pressure. This article is similar to the one I read: http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2011-08-18/diet/29901068_1_pomegranate-juice-lower-blood-pressure-risk-of-heart-disease. I planned to blitz fresh raw pomegranate seeds in water and make my own juice, but my local market isn't carrying whole pomegranates right now so I bought Knudsen brand called Just Pomegranate. I bought this because it is in a glass jar and contains no other juice fillers/blends. I was looking for something to flavor water, so if it works it'll be an added bonus for me. Woohoo!
