I've been overweight all my life, and I've tried various different diets. I actually was on Atkins at one point, and lost a lot of weight, but was (stupidly) convinced it wasn't healthy. Weight watchers was my biggest failure. I began studying my body and getting to know it's reactions and figured out that low-carb eating was the absolute best thing to make me feel good and maintain, if not lose weight. I realized that everybody is different, fearfully and wonderful made, so not very diet is going to work for every one. So here I am again, ready to go the distance!
I'm on the Atkins Community site, I'm here because the food tracking is easier here. We'll see how well I keep up with the social aspect. I really don't want to spend my time keeping up with 2 blogs and stuff...
