I am 38 and married (Eddie). I have to grown children (girl 18, boy 16) and lots of stress! I have stuggled with weight all my life. I gained a lot of weight about 4 years ago and have not been able to lose. I have gotten so frustrated it is not even funny anymore. I try to eat right. I cringe if I have to drink anything other than fresh farm milk from a local dairy farmer I know. I strongly believe that all the hormones and toxins that are put in to our food now days is a major contributor to the population being so over weight. I try to eat vegies and fruit for snacks. Try to cut out processed sugar. That one is tough because I have a devilish sweet tooth. So I try to keep pure dark chocolate. I can eat a very small amount and it seems to tame the urge. We recently just relocated to the beach so I am trying to beef up the activity which I must admit has been pretty pethetic. I am trying to do water aerobics as much as possible. I can not afford the classes so try to do them on my own. That has really been a lot of fun. Trying to do stairs but that one is tough because I have a hard time with my knees. My legs have always been huge and that is not going to change (it runs in the family) but I need to get them built up. I do not mind a curvy body in fact would love it (because right now it is round)!
