My goal is to get down to around 9-10% body fat in the next couple of months without losing too much muscle mass. Currently weighing in at 168 pounds at 5'8''. My main routine for exercise has been the same for the last 6 years. Mostly consists of lifting, as it is one of my favorite things to do. Bad genes for bodybuilding, but I'm going to try my hardest to get bigger and stronger while trying to shed some fat. Mostly going to throw in some cardio in order to try to lose this fat. Not really setting a true weight goal, since I don't really care about how much I weigh as long as I lose this belly.
Had a period of time in which I was dealing with an eating disorder (binge eating disorder) and it still affects me today. Eating disorders are incredibly difficult to deal with, and can stay with you for years. It is definitely something that should be discussed with family or a trained professional. It is nothing to be embarrassed about, although it is tough to see that at the time (I felt like I couldn't tell anyone, since I had been someone everyone went to for lifting advice.) Seek strength from friends, family or even communities such as this one.
