I am 31 years old and have been slightly overweight for years. After college (when I was slightly overweight as well), I slimmed down to a great weight for my height and build. I never had a scale at that time, but all the clothes I had don't fit me now, and pictures at the time look obviously different. I'm kind of frustrated that I didn't know the actual number of my weight so I could use it as some sort of an indicator, but regardless, I am looking to get back down to that weight. Since I met my husband 7 years ago, he has taught me how to eat healthy and to take care of myself. I have been eating healthy throughout our relationship, however I already gained weight and have essentially been maintaining my slightly overweight stature. I knew that I had to follow a regimen for awhile to lose the excess weight, then I can go back to eating healthy with my husband again. It just feels weird to be on a "diet" again. I keep telling myself that it's to lose the excess. I know how to eat well. I love to exercise. I just knew how to eat well and to exercise to maintain, not lose. So here I am!
