My name is Sue. I'll be 50 in August - I weigh 184 pounds. I'm going to Florida in July & my goal was to lose 10 pounds before Florida & more by 50. Hasn't happened yet but still trying. I'm a single mom with 2 wonderful teenagers. Have really gained weight over the past 4 years & desperately want to go down at least 2 sizes!!! I try to work out at least 4x a week - 2 days at the gym & 2 days at home doing aerobics. Love the Atkins lifestyle & hoping it works!!!

ok, I am totally fed up.
Wow - very helpful - I'll be 50 in August & really struggling I've lost 1 pounds in 4 weeks - finally I realized I wasn't getting enough veggies & was actually below 20 carbs & sometimes below an adequate amount of calories. Hermiones - so glad to read your post I'm just starting menopause & losing weight is an unbelievable struggle despite working out..seeing how you lost makes me much more hopeful!!!!
HeidiG - just curious how long did it take for you to lose 10 pounds??? My starting weight is about the same yours....thanks all Sue
