I have never fully recovered my body after having kids! I was 117lbs prior. After the birth of my first I managed to make it down to 137lbs but now, 2 years after the birth of my second I still weigh 170lbs.
Last year I did phase 1 of the South Beach Diet and cut my calorie consumption drastically and took up an old flame...running. I lost 25lbs in a matter of weeks! Unfortunately with the holidays and a few unstable and emotional months I gained it all back. With the warm weather I have once again found my determination!
This time I am starting out with Slim Fast. I'm planning on using the shakes for some meal replacements and then slowly incorporating other foods. I'm aiming to eat about 800-1000 calories a day until I find an exercise routine that I can stick to. At that point I will add an additional 200 calories making for 1200 as a daily total.
My short term goal is 155 pounds (15 lbs lost)by June 21.
My long term goal is 135 pounds (35 lbs lost) by the fall.
