CENTERS CLOSING
My local center closed because of loss of clients. The manager said they went from 600 clients to 60 in less than three months. They blamed it on high gas prices. I have to drive an extra 20 miles out of my way to get to the closet center.

Looking for LA Wt Loss
The closest LA center to me closed as well. I now have to drive to a neighboring town which is very far out of my way. The manager of the closed center said she went from 600 clients to 60 in about 3 months and blamed it on high gas prices.

New to LA
Hi Jenny!
My story is like this... I have struggled with my weight all my life doing every diet and pill that I could. Nothing helped. I finally realized..doi... I needed to change my relationship with food so I joined LAWL. I didn't weigh anything or measure, didn't stick to the exercise and only lost around 1/4 to 1/2 lb a week. I quit going (and practicing LA) in May of 07. Then got very sick, ended up on 4 rounds of steriods, 5 rounds of antibiotics and had to have surgery. I gained back 26 lbs. I rejoined LAWL a week ago. This time my attitude is totally different. I am 100% committed this time, were as last time I was only 50% commited. If I had had anyone to give me pointers back then I wish they would of told me this.... weigh and measure your food/liquids, Stock up on good foods and leave the junk at the grocery store. Prepare a couple a days ahead if at all possible. My worst times are when I have nothing prepared and don't have time to fix anything. Also, make a schedule for exercise and stick to it. Above all you have to commit yourself 100%. Good luck and hope the lbs melt away.
