hot weather vs. cold weather
I've often thought that the rise in obesity in the last 50 years is related to the rise in air-conditioning. I wouldn't be surprised if walking in hot weather burns more calories.

Zero Carb Noodles!
Shirataki noodles are not just low-carb, but also zero to almost no calories, depending on which brand you buy. They are almost all fiber. Konjac root (also known as glucomannan; the stuff shirataki is made out of) is supposed to be especially good for helping you regulate your insulin. I take glucomannan capsules too.
