Yesterday I passed on the delicious gourmet cupcakes for a co-workers birthday. I'm trying to leave room in my calorie count for a little treat each day and it helps me resist the temptations that pop up. I know at the end of the day I'll have a couple of squares of chocolate, a small sno cone or a tall Frappuccino (no whipped cream) and yes, sometimes cupcakes. So far it's working. I think this is a lifestyle change I can stick with from here out.
