I am from Fresno, CA and a mother of 2 boys (ages 2 and 15). I lost alot of weight on Atkins several years ago then got pregnant. I have tried all diets and Atkins only works for me. I am now back on the diet and determined all over again to get the weight off and keep it off. By the way since I started Atkins, my cholesterol is great and my doctor thought I was on a low fat diet so he and said to keep with Atkins.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG
Actually you should eat or drink a protein meal about an hour or two before bed because when you go for so long with out eating at night your body goes into starvation mode. I usually have an atkins low carb shake around 10 pm and I am just fine or I will have a protein meal if I am starved. Remember if you are hungry and your body gets no food, it will think it's starving and hold on to every calorie you eat, so enjoy and have a meal or snack in the evening.
