I'm a full-time working mum to 2 little 'uns, aged 5 and 2. I have managed to lose a stone or two a few years ago and kept it off. Even after my first pregnancy I managed to reach a weight I was happy with. It all went out of the window whilst pregnant with my youngest but since my daughter was born I gradually got back into shape. My problem has been the last 7ish pounds - it just won't budge! I got back to around 10st 2 but that was it. Then I put on a few more over Christmas and I've reached the end of my tether. It's about time I made a bit more of an effort to get it shifted!
At the end of the day I love food. I need to cut down on some of the unnecessary rubbish and get my backside into gear to burn off more calories, that way I won't need to sacrifice too much of the nice stuff. My hubbie loves to cook from scratch and we enjoy a big meal in the evening - it's fundamentally healthy (most of the time!) and there's no way I'm sacrificing that. I just need to adjust the rest :)
