Goal Weight

Still to go: 28.0 lb
Well lets see, I am almost 45 years old, a mom of two grown children and 5 furry babies, wife to a pretty neat guy.
I used to be a very skinny girl! In fact, for years, I couldn't put on a pound and believe me, I ate plenty. Well, about 13 years ago, I was put on anti depressants for major anxiety disorder as well as clinical depression! Within 2 years I went from a measly 110-115 lbs to a whopping
155lbs! It wasn't exactly what I wanted but I felt better and at least then, I had some sort of figure! I didn't worry about it too much, I was still a size 8-10, still not bad. A few years back I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and trigger point syndrome etc..etc...in other words, lots of pain and as much as I fought against taking yet more drugs, the ibuprfan was not cutting it!
The past 4 months, Ive been on gabapentin . I am now up to 184 lbs..big jump. Ive gotten swollen, and lots of pain. Needless to say I am weaning off of this drug. In the meantime, I feel like hell, but am determined to get healthy again.Physically, I will always have this disease, but I am not going to live like this anymore! I am committed to eating a healthy diet, something I never had to do before, I am determined to start working out even if its baby steps and lose this weight!
Looking forward to a brighter, lighter future!
