What to do when your points don't seem to be enough
You might look at increasing the amount of fiber in your diet. Oatmeal for breakfast, make sure you have a vegetable with lunch-or a salad, and two servings of vegetables with dinner. Remember that many vegetables have no points- brocolli, green beans, spinach, etc. Have whole fruits as a snack in the morning and in the afternoon...I like an orange in the morning and an apple or right now, a pear in the afternoon.

I find that if I focus on fiber, I get enough to eat, and stay within my points allowance.

Olive Oil
Some fat is necessary in any diet. Have a look at this article from the Mayo Clinic: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/fat/NU00262
The operative word is *some*. Olive oil is recognized to be one of the healthier fats and so can be used in moderation in cooking.
