I'm turning 30 in a few months. I'm married, no kids yet, but hoping to get pregnant soon. I've lived in the midwest my entire life. I'm 5'3" 190 lbs. My all-time high was 215. I lost 40 pounds in 2005 on South Beach and loved it. It's the only diet I've ever tried that actually worked for me. I was holding steady around 175 for the first part of 2006, but started to lose control in the fall. Now, I'm starting 2007 off fresh with Phase 1 of South Beach, and hopefully I'll reach my goal weight of 140 this time around.

Need recipies for South Beach breakfasts - I changed my screen name
I posted this on your first entry, and then saw this one, and thought I'd put it here too...

I'm kind of in the same boat as you! I lost 40 lbs. on South Beach in late 2005. I had wanted to lose 75, but I was still pretty happy at 40. So I got lazy and was basically in Phase 3 for awhile before I finally started to lose control this past fall, and now I've gained back 15 of the 40 I lost. So, I'm starting back on Phase 1 as of next Monday.

I also found that the spinach cups were too small for me, so after a couple days in Phase 1, I just started eating two or three for breakfast. I still lost 13 pounds in that two weeks, and kept losing 1.5 to 2 pounds a week after that. I have tried all kinds of variations on the cups too, other vegetables and cheeses, and my favorite is roast beef with swiss cheese. I know you said you can't handle meat in the morning, but a little goes a long way with the breakfast cups, and the meat is really satisfying and keeps me full all morning, so you might want to give it a try. If beef seems too fatty, you could use turkey instead.
