Hello!! I'm Sammie, 24, married (5 years!), with two little girls (ages 3 and 5) :)

I have always struggled with my weight, and I'm just sick to death of being overweight. I'm ready to be slender and healthy, and I am in the right mind-set to get it done! This is my second serious attempt at getting my weight off, I did manage to lose at one point and slowly slipped back into my old habits. After 2 kids my all time highest weight was 264!! At this point I wear the same size I did in High School, which although is still crazy big, I'm proud that I managed to that. I'm ready to get into uncharted territory this go round :) South Carolina summers are ridiculous and I'd like to feel comfortable in less clothing!! LOL

My major motivators are my awesome husband and two little girls, the fact that being IN SHAPE would be terrific, and pure vanity as well. The hardest part for me is giving up sweets, fast-food, alcohol, and cutting back on coffee (I just can't not drink it :( Maybe some day). We as a family are making these better choices, not just me. It's almost a race with my husband (And I wanna WIN!)

Caffeine
I have a hard time giving up coffee! I feel much worse and hungrier if I don't have my usual 3 cups black in the morning. My husband is always on my case about cutting out the caffeine, but I get acceptable (to me) results even when I drink it. I would love to not be dependent on it however, so I do commend you for kicking it! Good luck!
