My name is Leanne. I'm currently a 20 year old student from Canada. I've gained over 30 pounds in the last couple years, mostly due to a sports injury - now I'm battling to get it off and become healthy and have a better self-esteem.

I came to this site in hopes of exchanging recipes, talking, and motivation - and I welcome anyone who wants someone to be their "weight loss buddy" to talk to me about it! :)

I'm mostly just trying to eat healthy and exercise regularly, but seems like I never get "around" to it, and being a student, I go for the most convenient things to eat - which are usually not the most healthy. I might try Slimfast as a meal replacement, though.

Hi, Im Leanne.

I've been on here about a month though, but for some reason just can't stick to it. I think I need a little extra motivation, and some weight loss buddies with similar goals as mine.

I'm trying to lose 30lbs by the end of August, and this has been my goal now for about 2 months, and I just can't budge Sad

Any suggestions?
