I am 54 years old and the only time I didn't struggle witht being overweight was when I did illegal drugs.....that has been a long long time. I have lost...gained...lost....but always struggled. About 4 years ago I seriously injured my leg and my activity level drastically changed....not that I have ever been an exerciser.. ..but at least I climbed the stairs at work. I accepted 175....rationalized "as long as it is under 200".....and MUST CHANGE AT 222.

i finally 2 pounds instead of just one this the search for what was different!!!!! I was afraid I had gained after straying on Labor day. I danced with the scales during the week and was afraid I had gained. Bad Grin

Plataus and the 1200 Kcal RDI
I am 54....5'2" and very SEDENTARY. I also eat ABOUT least that is my goal. Many days I find myself under, and I don't think that is good. I have been given some tips that have helped me
add some cheese to something
add a condiment...ketchup..mayo....salad dressing
up your portions a bit
So far I have averaged a pound a week loss. Although I would be thrilled with 2 pounds a week.....the loss is steady and I am pleased. Good luck

This is the first time I have actually allowed God into my eating!!!! He helped me get clean and sober....helped me quit smoking.....and has helped with many many other negative behaviors. But I never really wanted help with the food thing. I am just trying to eat the way I know He designed us to eat......feeding the machine with good stuff. It is working.

I'm Hungry
I have been so impressed with not getting actually hungry throughout the day since I started eating small meals and snacks. I have pretty much stayed at 1200...never over 1300 over the last 2 months. I have lost consistently. but over the past few days I AM HUNGRY. I eat breakfast and snack, but from lunch on I am just hungry!!!!
