Hi, my name is Debbie and I am 47. I have 2 beautiful daughters 18 and 26, and 2 adorable grandchildren 4 and 2. I live in beautiful Northern California and loving every minute of it. I am 5'7" and now weigh 159.2 lbs. I have never weighed over 144 in my life and was 125lbs for 25 years. A little over a year ago I had some medical issues that limited me to doing hardly anything. Then I got used to doing "hardly anything". I do very little at my job for 8 hours, go home and fix dinner and then sit in front of the TV for several hours before bed time where again I do nothing for several more hours. All that "doing nothing" has caused a 20lb weight gain that I'm not used to. Since I have never had to diet or watch what I eat, this is all very new and foreign for me so I'm learning from all of you guys on this website about calories, carbs and excersize. I look forward to this journey with all of you.

How to remove an exercise
I have never been able to figure out how to remove an exercise either. I just decrease the excercise to 1 minute and let it go.

I need to lose 40lbs, and I need some motivation. Anybody in my same boat, want to help one another
My motivation is when the scale actually went down. I now stick strictly to my diet and workout sessions and the scale continues to go down. It also helps that everyone on FS has a lot of the same issues and I can learn from them.
