Why am I not losing weight?
3500 calories does NOT always = 1 pound of weight loss. It is a very general rule just like the RDI for you is a guestimate. You need to adjust based on what is going on with your weight.

Counting Carbs or Calories? What works for you?
Calories is just way to measure how much food you are eating. Those calories can be made up of carb, fat and protein (the macros). Counting calories is a better metric to count how much food you are eating(it is more granular), but for people that want to watch carbs they can do that as well.

Most people don't lose weight because they have the wrong numbers for weight loss.
Why I say the only number you need for weight loss is your 0 weight loss or gain number is because Health Sidekick algorithm accounts for everything else. If you are using a basic online calculator it does not.
More importantly it is specific to you and adjust for you automatically daily.
If you are someone that doesn't want to log every day you could log 2-4 times a month and still have a great idea of how much food you can eat of the foods you are eating you can eat and lose weight. It has proven to be more accurate than any other online calculator/tracker.

Sounds good bill. Congrats on all your success.

For Glaun and ebivr for uploading the file can only have:

date and food calories-the file your are uploading should look like this:
Date food calories
10/13/14 2000

Fat Secret has a bunch of other information in it that you have to delete to get it to upload. We tried to make it as basic as possible for the upload because people upload from a variety of different sites and to code for every site would be very time consuming.
Good success to everyone. We can reach your goals. Don't give up!
