I have been living in Asia for 13 years and when I came to Asia I was weighing around 75 KG, I was only 23 years old. Although eating and drinking everything and I mean everything in massive quantities, the first 3 years where not effecting my weight.
Even without exercise I had not issues of weight gain. But than it started and before I was thirty I weight over a 110 KG. I am a tall guy (194 CM 6.4 foot) you did not really see the difference. Still up until I was 35 I was looking an feeling good until I started to get tired of everything. Mentally and physically. Work, relationship and also just simply walking up the stair burned me out.
This is why I had to turn around my life. So I started jogging.... not that easy at all and 3 KM just wore me out. Of course the temperature here does not help when it is most of the time above 30 degrees c here but I managed to get 4 KM without stopping in several weeks. And from there on it was improving with half a marathon within a month time in 33 degrees on a dusty road. (it is really not that hard, it is all mental but if you push through a bit and eat some pasta's the days before most people can do it if you just take it easy and rest when you want to ( I did it in 2 hours and 36 excluding some rests).
Being sporty I notice my KG where coming off but I hit a plateau around 91 KG so I looked into my diet and found the Doctors Diet from Dr Stork.
I banned processed food and most sugars out of my diet but still eating fruits. I used the blender a lot and use it for all sorts of stuff. I think nuts, avocados, berries, grape fruit, spinach, fish fillet and milk are most of the things I eat.
