Aside from a pregnancy weight of 152 lbs., the most I have ever weighed was 115 lbs in high school. I am 29 years old, just quit smoking and tired of waiting for my metabolism to slow down as I age. My dieting attempts are quite the opposite of most; I've tried (and failed) 4000k diets several times, I've tried the protein shake diet, the junk food diet, the get a job that requires no more than sitting on my ass diet and they were all to no avail. I've spent my life dealing with people making fun of my height/weight combination with nicknames like "Olive Oil" and even people who don't mean to insult me, but don't seem to understand that walking up to an underweight person and saying, "OMG you're so skinny!" is the equivalent of walking up to an overweight person and saying, "OMG you're so fat!" I just happen to have a fast metabolism and have always enjoyed healthy foods in small portions over unhealthy foods in several portions. I work a graveyard shift and that does not help my eating habits so hopefully, if I count my calories I can figure out a way to get more out of food and into my body for a healthy weight.
