Argh - need...to...grocery...shop! Had to order Japanese last night. Sauteed shrimp, brown rice, veggies. But it's expensive to keep ordering out for healthy food. Awful bad for you delivery food is so much cheaper, it's disgusting. It just seems wrong.
I hope to do a week of Phase 1 again beginning on Sunday or Monday, just to clear some of the French sugar out of my body. Heh. I'm starting to feel better after my week + of cold and cough, so hope to make it to the gym a few times next week too.
Today will be good. :)

This is my first day at this site, just found it this morning. Interesting layout, I like it! Anyway...the short version of the long story is this - heavy most of my life. Okay, all of my life really. Done every diet imaginable. About a year and a half ago or maybe a little more tried Weight Watchers at work and lost about 40 pounds but got really tired of constantly counting everything. Held those 40 pounds off more or less, but when a few pounds started creeping back last summer, I looked into the SBD because a bunch of people at my office were losing insane amounts of weight and they all claimed it was the easiest diet they'd ever been on. It has been really easy! We're on phase 2 now.
Except that last week I was in France for the first time in my life, and I ate enough croissants and pastries to make up for all those lost years. Thankfully, with all the walking, climbing stairs, etc. on the trip, I only gained 3 pounds.
I'm back on track more or less this week, except I've been sick and have had no time to go to the grocery store, and the only thing difficult about SBD is not being prepared. SBD is not something where you can just "wing it". And I do have a bit of a sugar craving since the trip, but not too bad. We're going to do phase 1 again for a week or two, but have not been able to make it to the store. Also need to get back to the gym that we joined. So here I am! Hope to meet some nice people and get some great diet tips & share success, etc.
