I am a 23 year old young professional who has battled weight gain since acquiring the infamous freshman 15 my first year. Before then, I was one of those people you would love to hate. I ate anything I wanted and never thought twice about what I put into my mouth while my stomach stayed obediently flat. After my freshman year, reality hit after I saw a picture of myself taken during the holiday season...and thus began my never ending tug of war with weight.

That summer I worked out regularly and stayed on a strict diet and by the new semester had lost all the weight plus some. Looking great and feeling great, I entered a new year...and then school, stress, and sleep deprivation set in and I gained the weight again. The next summer I did the same...this time losing most but not all of the weight. I entered my third year vowing to eat right and exercise regularly...and it worked...for a while after which all nighters and order out took its toll again. And thus goes the cycle. I lose weight over the summer and gain it during the school year.

I'm not overweight and I realize that but I know that I can be more fit and more healthy. After reading about this site, I am giving this a try. We'll see how this goes...

situps and what they topic they go under
Hi, I do sit ups almost everyday, but I never know what topic to put it under the exercise calendar...calisthenics? home exercise? gym conditioning? I'm not sure if it is intense enough to count as push ups or not. Anyways, any help would be appreciated.
