You are so right!!! My husband and I have been exercising together for years. We walk 63 to 70 minutes plus a day.
And, we eat healthy. We are seniors with no desease, high blood pressure or cholesterol problems. We work every day at keeping our weight at desired weight. Have been going to TOPS since 1978 for support. I know it’s not easy not to revert to old habits. Do it and you will feel better and live longer. As much as 14 years longer is what I read with studies on longevity.

I fell like I can't stop eating!
You need to get your depression under control first as I think your eating is all emotional. Food is comfort. Just eat what is on your plate and don't keep anything unhealthy in the house that you know you will not be able to resist eating. I always make sure that my walks take priority before any appointments and my my family knows it. You need to prioritize what is important and not let people sabotage your healthy eating or exercise routines. I've been watching my weight since 1978 and have been able to keep it off since I lost it. It's a struggle every day and that won't change or get easier. We are all here to help you through this.

Unsupportive Comments from Mother-in-law
I am a MIL and I just think she should respect your wishes. You are practicing a healthy lifestyle. Just say "no, thank you". and if she puts food in front of you that you do not want to eat just leave it there. Good luck with that!!!
