Hi, my name is Cate, I am 18 and I am a freshman in college (FSU) and I am currently majoring in biology. I want to do something medical, but I'm not quite sure what. I play the clarinet, I am a member of the marching chiefs and all my life I have been really into band, but really only the social aspect of it, I'm really not that good of a player, haha.

I loooove horror films, the higher the body count the better. I am currently looking forward to seeing the remake of "Nightmare on Elm Street" and also "The last Exorcism". I love Eli Roth, I think his movies are amazing.

Another major part of my life is being vegan. It started out as a physical reason then turned into an ethical reason.

I also love making lattes, I make myself a soy latte (protein and calcium, yum!) with my espresso machine (yes, I own one, best investment ever).

I am here to better myself, I need to make changes in my life and I would love to be at my goal wight (150) by the time I am 21 (so about 2.5 more years).

Yet more potentially conflicting advice
I have come to the conclusion, from reading about diets, that nothing is good. ever. lol. I think you should just go with what feels good for your body, because we really dont know anything about anything.

And I did get the pollan book... but unfortunatly it fell in that weird space between my bed and my wall (along with numerous pencils, papers, notes, and a stuffed moose). but i plan on reading it soon, once I retreive it. Smile

Food Network at the GYM???
hahaha! thats so weird, but I get it. It's nice because while you are exercising, you are thinking about the opposite of what you are trying to accomplish!
