Calorie counting... what about counting fat grams?
I'm a calorie counter for sure, but I maintain my weight eating around 1800 cals a day. My job doesn't keep me very active, neither does going to school. I have added in a workout and I'm slowly getting to reach so goals. I lost about 5 lbs so far this past month, they were the lbs I figured would be easy to lose. Now for the hard part... getting all the way to my goal.
Anyway, does anyone know of guidelines for how much fat you need to eat to lose or maintain weight? I think that will help me more long term. Thanks for any advice!

Protein Shakes?
I really want to focus on toning my body while I loose weight. I know I eat waaaaay too many carbs, and never enough protein, but I'm also too busy to cook most days. Does anyone have any protein shakes they would recommend? Or quick and easy protein ideas? Mostly I just eat a lot of beans and egg whites, but that gets old over time and not as easy to do on class days or while I'm working. Thanks!!!
