I am 37 yrs old. I raised 5 children 3 boys an 2 girls. I have 1 granddaughter who is going to be 4 this year. My husband an I are over the road truck drivers. We travel. 44 of the 50 states. We own our truck but we are leased to a co. in N.C. All our kids are grown an gone from home. So we don't go home much anymore. 1 week every 3 months is about all we see of home. Unfortunately I have gained alot of weight being in the truck. It is very hard to exercise and eat healthy when this tru ck is moving a minimum of 18 hrs. a day 7 days a week. I have been a truck driver for 13 yrs now. I even met my husband in a truck stop in 2001. He moved in with me 3 mo. after we met and asked me every day for 4 yrs to marry him finally in 2005 I agreed and we got married 2/19/05 a still happily married an going strong.

I could really use ideas on exercises i can do in the truck.
I don't get to exercise other than walking my dog and throwing the frisbee for her. Which is great for her, she does so much for me being that she is my service dog and her only free time is when we have time to stop the truck and let her play for a few minutes a few times a day but that's not helping me loose weight. I need some exercise ideas I could use in the truck while my husband is driving down the road. Any tips, ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million, Nikki

Hope everyone is feeling as good as i am.
I had a good day today. I drove 710 miles today and I am 350 calories below my daily intake. I'm going thru Montana now and the snow capped mtns. are beautiful. I wish everyone could see this view. Hope everyone had just as good a day as I did.

Being an OTR Truck driver isnt easy.....while trying to diet
My husband and I are truck drivers. We travel 44 out of the 50 states. Since technically the bank still owns our truck for another 2 yrs. We hardly ever take time off. So basically I'm either sitting or sleeping. I have gained a lot of weight. Even though I have a crock pot, micro., foreman grill, toaster oven, and frig. In the truck (i know minus the kitchen sink) its really hard to find good, healthy meals I can fix in the truck in a minimal amount of time and easy clean up. The truck is usually running atleast 18 hrs. a day. Any quick tips or recipes would be greatly appreciated. Just keep in thought I also have to cook for my husband as well who believes in the see food diet and not dieting. And I don't have the kitchen sink to clean up with. Thanks a million, Nikki
