About My Weight Journey:
In January 2009 I weighed in at 186 lbs; I had just moved past a low point in life and was shocked with terror at the number! It was time to drop the pounds! I have gradually gone from 186 lbs (size 12) to 144 lbs (size 6/8)! I used to weigh 98 lbs and it was hard for me to realize how much I let myself go.
My ideal weight 120 - 125 lbs (size 4/6). I think that is realistic and accomplishable! Another top priority is to lose some of my breast size. I have always been top heavy but currently I am overwhelmed by them. During the past few years of losing weight they have actually gained 1-2 cup sizes! Therefore, when I hit my goal weight if they are still this large, I will undergo breast reduction surgery.
I love meat, cheese, and pasta, the deadly sins of weight loss! I have found that calorie and portion control work best for me, and I have done well with it so far. I cook what I want and put each serving in an individual container before I eat. I find that I eat poorly when I am in a hurry or being lazy, so I also freeze them for convenience.
I am ready to get to a healthy weight and maintain it!
